Our 25 momme silk bed sets are incredibly soft and have a luxurious feel. They have superb drape-ability to cover your bed beautifully, along with being more durable than lower momme silk bed sets, so wash more easily, and are hardy to any pets that may find themselves atop them. They are currently available in the colour Ivory.

Benefits

Silk is a breathable fabric as the fibres allow air to flow through. This means that it helps you to stay cool in the summer. However, don’t be fooled, silk also helps to regulate temperature, making it a brilliant insulator too, meaning that you will stay warm in the colder weathers as well.

Hair and skin can also benefit from silk bedding. Due to the smooth surface of the silk, there is less friction than on your average cotton bed set, so there is less tugging on your skin while you sleep, which can cause wrinkles, and you’re less likely to wake up with frizzy ‘bed head’.

Silk is less absorbent than cotton, so any creams or lotions that you put on your hair or skin will stay where you put it, rather than being soaked up by your bedding, meaning you can reap their benefits to their entirety.

Material

Our silk bedding are made from 100% 25 momme grade 6A Mulberry silk. Being a 25 momme silk means that it has a higher weight and therefore density than lower momme silks. This makes it more durable and can give it a smoother feel. Grade 6A means that it is the highest quality silk with both ‘6’ and ‘A’ being the highest on their respective scales.
