The Story of HI Silk
HI Silk is a family run business, founded by Joanne Godfrey. Joannes' two children, Harry and India, also quickly became interested and joined the brand.
Jo has always loved silk, especially its soft and luxurious feel. As she saw it becoming more popular, she did some research into finding the best quality, and found that many places were not selling silk at a higher quality - 25 momme. She realised that this may be a niche in the market and wanted to inspire others to "fall in love with silk".
She named the business HI Silk such as to incorporate her two beloved children's initials. If Jo can inspire her 22 year old son to be a silk convert, she is sure she can do the same to you!
Being as we are a family run business, we like to think that this offers a level of trust and integrity that other larger corporations may not provide. Furthermore, we are always ready to chew your ear off about the benefits of silk and any other questions you may have.
