What Is 25 momme Silk?

Our Housewife, Glacé and Oxford pillowcases, along with the fitted sheets and duvet covers are made from 100% 25 momme grade 6A Mulberry silk.

Being a 25 momme silk means that it has a higher weight and therefore density than lower momme silks.

This makes it more durable and can give it a smoother feel. But don't worry, it won't feel heavy in the night.  

Grade 6A means that it is the highest quality silk with both ‘6’ and ‘A’ being the highest on their respective scales.

The other benefit, of course, is that with proper care, our 25 momme silk bedding should last longer, caring for you, while you care for it.
