About our eye masks:

 

Our beautiful and luxurious eye masks are made from 19 momme grade 6A Mulberry silk with a soft padding within. This helps to muffle sounds while you sleep and block out rays of light without being too bulky, ensuring maximum comfort. It is in a ‘bat man’ style to fit comfortably around the bridge of the nose, and has a Velcro strap, meaning it is fully adjustable. Those with false eyelashes would find the masks particularly useful as there is minimal friction and can be adjusted for a looser fit.

These super soft silk bonnets are made from 19 momme grade 6A Mulberry silk, and are fully reversible, meaning that not only is the outside pure silk, but so is the inside. This ensures maximum protection against frizzy ‘bed head’ and helps to maintain hairstyles. The back of the bonnet is elasticated so that it can adapt to varying head sizes or volumes of hair.

About our headbands:

 

Our beautiful and luxurious headbands are made from 19 momme grade 6A Mulberry silk, with an elasticated back. This helps to adjust for a variety of head sizes. They are super soft of your hair, especially the fine baby hairs around your hairline, providing minimal friction while holding your hair back. 

They are brilliant for your morning / evening beauty routine or as a fashion statement while looking after your hair.

Silk is a breathable fabric as the fibres allow air to flow through. This means that it helps you to stay cool in the summer. However, don’t be fooled, silk also helps to regulate temperature, making it a brilliant insulator too, meaning that you will stay warm in the colder weathers as well.

Hair can benefit from a silk bonnet. Due to the smooth surface of the silk, there is less friction than your average bonnet, or from laying your head directly onto a cotton pillowcase, so you’re less likely to wake up with frizzy ‘bed head’. This also helps to preserve your hairstyles, saving you time on your morning beauty routine.

The same can be said for silk headbands, causing less pull on the fine hairs around your hairline.

Our eye masks, bonnets and headbands are made from 19 momme grade 6A Mulberry silk, with the eye masks having a soft padding within. Being a 19 momme silk means that it is less dense and therefore lighter than our silk bedding. This provides a weightless and therefore more comfortable feel when you are wearing it at night. Grade 6A means that it is the highest quality silk with both ‘6’ and ‘A’ being the highest on their respective scales.

We always recommend hand washing our silk products, but they can also be machine washed at 30 degrees celsius or lower on a delicate cycle. For small items, use a fine mesh washing bag, and always use washing liquid and fabric conditioner made specifically for silk, to maintain its beautiful lustre. Make sure to line dry the silk bedding as it is not suitable for tumble drying.
