Skin can benefit greatly from silk eye masks. Due to the smooth surface of the silk, there is less friction than if you were lying directly on a cotton pillowcase. This leads to less tugging on your skin while you sleep, which can cause wrinkles.
Silk is less absorbent than cotton, so any creams or lotions that you put on your skin will stay where you put it, rather than being soaked up by your eye masks, meaning you can reap their benefits to their entirety.
Those with sensitive skin also find comfort with our eye masks. Silk is hypoallergenic and very soft, and so causes a lot less irritation than cotton alternatives. The light weight aspect of these eye masks as well as their padded nature only add to this luxury.
As for our scrunchies, silk's soft, natural fibres provide a smooth surface, therefore causing less friction on your hair. This is turn causes less pull, so there will be less frizz, breakage and kinks - the result being luscious locks.
Our scrunchies are also super versatile. They can be worn for day to day household jobs or exercise, or can be dressed up for bigger occasions! But don't worry, no matter what you do, they'll stay in place.
Our eye masks are made from 19 momme grade 6A Mulberry silk with a soft padding within. Being a 19 momme silk means that it is less dense and therefore lighter than our silk bedding. This provides a weightless and therefore more comfortable feel when you are wearing it at night. Grade 6A means that it is the highest quality silk with both ‘6’ and ‘A’ being the highest on their respective scales.

We always recommend hand washing our silk products, but they can also be machine washed at 30 degrees celsius or lower on a delicate cycle. For small items, use a fine mesh washing bag, and always use washing liquid and fabric conditioner made specifically for silk, to maintain its beautiful lustre. Make sure to line dry the silk bedding as it is not suitable for tumble drying.
